I don't think you have been following this discussion very well, Annette. The reference to canine genetics and books about canine genetics was to illustrate that dogs have been being used for "proving" or test breedings at a young age for many, many years. Suze didn't invent the term, nor do anything that wouldn't be generally accepted in the normal breeding population. It is commonly done. Myra
