This statement could not be further from the truth. You have obviously never met Annette. She is a kind, caring knowledgeable woman with more integrity in her little finger than most people will ever hope to have in their lifetime. Glenn I don't know if you are a breeder or not or whether you have many friends who are that have shared their experiences with you. If you take off the rose colored glasses you will find that sh*t happens and there are all kinds of people in this world. Annette was merely offering the other side of the coin of the things that can happen despite our best intentions. A breeder can screen very well and a home may sound perfect and say they'll do all the right things at first and then later unfortunately you may find that they were not really the type of home you thought they'd be. It takes a long time to really get to know a person, sometimes years and breeders only have at best a few months to evaluate what type of people they are placing their puppies with be it show or pet. We all try to display the best of ourselves when we meet someone new and it takes a while for our true selves to really show. If you don't believe me, I have two ex husbands and a long string of ex boyfriends to prove it.
