Ahhh, if we only knew if our pups were genetically sound. Unfortunately Glenn, we don't. All we know is that the parents have been tested. That piece of information is important, but doesn't guarantee genetically sound puppies. I've often told on this list of our first litter. Two fully tested parents, lovely dogs. Three puppies. Two had luxating patellae, one had an undescended testicle. The patellae problems didn't show up until they were several months old and we stood behind them, paying for the surgery on one, and giving a free puppy on another. However, all we knew was that both parents had a letter from the vet saying their patellae were normal. Didn't give us even a hint that the puppies were not genetically sound. No, all we can do is sell a puppy from tested parents, but we rarely know the carrier status of our dogs. Myra
