You and lots of others tell me that Annette is a wonderful person and I am
sure she is. I really didn't mean for it to sound as harsh as it did. It was
just an observation not a criticism. I was just trying to make the point
that when a breeder holds out a puppy to be even potentially something
special that breeder takes on more responsibility to the new owner than if it
was a pet quality sale. And I know it's impossible but part of that
responsibility is making sure that you sell your show prospect to someone who
is willing and able to finish a worthy dog AND love the dog. If you make the
wrong decision you have to accept responsibility for that. The responsible
breeder says, " hey, I thought they would be good show people but I was
wrong." Then if they want some money back because they were sold a pet
instead of a show dog, you swallow hard and bite the bullet.
