Thanks you Susan.  And what a fantastic job the club did.  Most people could
not begin to understand how many parts of that standard were initially
unacceptable to the AKC.  I thank you all for the temperament standard
(happy, carefree, outgoing) and for the insistence that Cavaliers be shown
"free standing."  It is unfortunate that with the onslaught of professional
handlers we do often see kneeling and stringing up.  But that is another
debate and we do have to thank those responsible for including those types of
requirements into the standard.  Incidently, I never knew that the parent
club had a vote on that.  I thought that was one of the things insisted upon
when the negotiations to be the parent club were taking place.
