Thanks for your reply Geri, but without a reason why this action might not be in the best interest of an impressionable puppy, as well as of my older dogs, I would in a sense just be saying that you must respect my wishes. However, I would much prefer to say that these are the reasons I believe it to be an improper way to interact with my dogs and these are the reasons why.....or maybe I am truly wrong and making too much of it. By the way, I do already have my own answers to those questions but am looking for other opinions. Phyllis
