William, Jeff and Kevin have now all said more or less the same thing. I think 
that's telling and begs us to think about this approach more.

is it time to put the monolithic presentation to bed, excepting exceptional 
circumstances where we get Big Names in or what-have-you, and instead design 
around a more fluid, socially-driven style?

would it be possible to get 3-5 people for each meeting who would be able to 
look after an "area" so that there is interesting things to do and some 
topical structure? this would also help ease the board's responsibilities as 
it would distribute the planning.
