May I also suggest perhaps a brief presentation on Webmin?
I'm sure everyone's seen it before (www.webmin.com) but it's a nifty
little web based interface for administering... well, almost any
aspect of a Linux/BSD/Windows/Mac computer.
I highly recommend it.
You would most likely not be able to fill an entire night with it
though - its extremely easy to setup, yet it does have a plethora of
features!
