Do you meet with families? When? I fortunately do not need to meet with the families unless there are issues that the unit managers, social worker, or business office cannot handle. When a patient is cut form Medicare it is no surprise to the family and they are well aware why and when. The entire team is well versed on Medicare coverage from admissions to the charge nurses.
