It happens.  I have only done once.  In the chaos of medicare pts coming and going, it can certainly happen.  I made a form that I write down all pending assessments with ARD and type, RUG level that they lock at, a place for me to check when it is printed, transmitted (locked), and for when the MDS and careplan is filed.  I just make sure that I use it religiously.

I was wondering if any RNAC's would care to share if any of you ever submitted a late assessment. According to my administrator, I am the only one she has ever heard of who has! The ones she worked with previously were perfect. Maybe she is right, I am just asking.
