This is correct If a resident leaves on the 14th day, you do not have to complete an
admission assessment. See chapter 2-page 2 top paragraph in the RAI manual and chapter
2 page 3 & 4 under admission assessments. States the admission assessment must be
completed no later than the end of day 14. It also notes to keep incompleted started
MDS on the record as you described.
