When you say afternoon hours, what hours are you talking about?  When is the ADON working?

Subject: MDS Coordinator responsibilities?

I've just begun as an MDS Coordinator at a brand new facility in which the job responsibilities are not yet set.   My bosses (ADON and DON) are not familiar with MDS' , the RAI process, and Medicare billing.  Lots of education needed!  We are trying to determine my working hours (my DON wants me to be in late afternoon with her as the ADON works early hours) and that prompted my question for the group.  Which committees do you attend?  On a daily and weekly basis what meetings are you required to be at?  Related to that...what other disciplines are attending these meetings?  In my experience there are many meetings throughout the week that the MDS Coordinator is attending which would make it difficult to work afternoons only.  (Although, for the record, I would love to delegate those meetings to others and just do assessments LOL!)
