As a representative of a software company that provides the MPAF as an
option, we find that our users believe it saves them quite a bit of time
and are thrilled with it!

Subject: MPAF

I'm the MDS Coor for a 27 bed hosp based SNF in Ohio with a 7-10 day
LOS. We use the MPAF form for all 5 day PPS assessments. We have been
doing this since the MPAF was ready for use. We have a consultant here
stating that MPAF is difficult to use, causes lots of problems. I would
like to know what others are doing. There are 3 of us here that have
been doing the MDS for years. And with averaging over 100 assessments a
month the MPAF has been a life savor.Your comments would be appreciated.
Thanks, Barb
