Sounds like the consultant means, "The MPAF makes my life harder, I have to
go looking for information instead of having it provided to me". The MPAF
has made my life much easier with the volume we have been handling. I find
it a lot easier to use than the full form, at least in Ohio with the state
specific "extra" questions still in there.

I'm the MDS Coor for a 27 bed hosp based SNF in Ohio with a 7-10 day LOS. We
use the MPAF form for all 5 day PPS assessments. We have been doing this
since the MPAF was ready for use. We have a consultant here stating that
MPAF is difficult to use, causes lots of problems. I would like to know what
others are doing. There are 3 of us here that have been doing the MDS for
years. And with averaging over 100 assessments a month the MPAF has been a
