We have 160 beds with average daily Medicare census of 25 with only 1
MDS Coodinator. We definitely use the MPAF, have found it a life saver,
and as far as I know haven't had any "issues" with it.

Subject: MPAF

I'm the MDS Coor for a 27 bed hosp based SNF in Ohio with a 7-10 day
LOS. We
use the MPAF form for all 5 day PPS assessments. We have been doing this
since the MPAF was ready for use. We have a consultant here stating
that
MPAF is difficult to use, causes lots of problems. I would like to know
what
others are doing. There are 3 of us here that have been doing the MDS
for
years. And with averaging over 100 assessments a month the MPAF has been
a
life savor.Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Barb
