In NC it is required that all PPS assessments be done on the MPAF form, unless there are also coded as an OBRA assessment. They will be rejected by the state if a PPS only is done on the longer form. I'm not aware of any problems.

We use the MPAF form for all 5 day PPS assessments. We have been doing this since the MPAF was ready for use. We have a consultant here stating that MPAF is difficult to use, causes lots of problems. I would like to know what others are doing. There are 3 of us here that have been doing the MDS for years. And with averaging over 100 assessments a month the MPAF has been a life savor.Your comments would be appreciated.
