If it was a data entry error, ie, the information was actually based on day 10 and data entry was day 11 by mistake....you do not inactivate...you do a modification. Inactivations are only for invalid assessements...per the Correction Policy flowchart in the Correction Policy Manual (page 2-2) "The record is valid if event occurred, resident and reasons for asmt. are correct, and submission is required."

If you really based your information on the ARD of day 11 instead of day 10....then you are stuck with default since you cannot go back and set a historical ARD. It is my understanding you would get default beginning with day 9 until the ARD of the late OMRA.

Don't get started on the historical ARD Nathan....that's the way it is for now no matter if we like it or not.

I have on occasion made a data entry error (e.g. wrong date) and I inactivate, correct and resubmit.

I made a mistake and transmitted OMRA with the ARD on day 11 instead of day 10. Can I inactivate assessment and transmit it again with the right ARD or we have to take a default payment?

Thanks Lana Vinnik RN, RAC-C
