As long as you are within the Assessment window you can change the ARD as
many times as you feel necessary to obtain the most appropriate RUG.

Subject: moving PPS ARDs

We have a new therapy company. On their first day they asked me to unlock a
PPS MDS and change the ARD because they thought they could capture a higher
RUG score. I refused. Now they are asking me to change the ARDs soon after
I post the schedule. This does not usually involve RV-RU groups-often RM
and RH. I think this may be legal as they are asking me to change the dates
prior to the ARDs but I'm not sure this is ethical. I definitely don't
think it is standard practice. Can anyone validate this?
