Hi Jim: I've been on 600 mg Gleevec for 4 years and one of the worst side effects is the bone pain and muscle cramping.? I have bad arthritis in my neck, feet, back and knees.? My onc has given me a prescription for painkillers but since I work full time, that is really not an option.? I found in Walgreens and some other pharmarcies (and Walmart) salonpas.? They are the adhesive patches and they help me alot.? I buy the small box which has 40 patches and it is somewhere around $5 or $6, a bargain, especially when they help.? They can't hurt so I hope you can locate them and give them a try.? If you have trouble finding them, just let me know and I'll get your mailing address and send them to you.
