Just wanted to drop in and say to Millie that I've been thinking about you and hoping you are doing OK.? When do your results on the biopsy come in?? I have you, and all of the group, in my daily thoughts and prayers.
I'm waiting for my BCR-ABL and FISH results which should be in any day now.? If they are as good as they have been (MMR but still detected, although at very low levels), my onc is going to try cutting my Gleevec from 600 to 400.? I am having terrible issues with memory loss and, in fact, having a brain MRI tomorrow.? 3 years ago I had a TIA which no doctor wanted to attribute to Gleevec.? It didn't leave any permanent damage but the Gleevec fog is so much worse.? So now they will be able to compare my brain with what it looked like in 2010 to see if I've lost brain cells.? My onc now knows that Gleevec can cause severe memory problems so he is very proactive about it. Take good care, you Millie, and all of the CML Warriors.? Thanks for your ongoing loving support.
