I'm a bit weary of git -- it still seems have pretty limited support on Windows, windows isn't my favorite platform, but I have to deal with it, and it would be nice if it was easy for Windows users to contribute. That's the biggest plus of SVN -- it's broad support. Mercurial is pretty well supported too -- and particularly appropriate for Python projects. That being said, I don't know if/when I'll be able to contribute to the code, so as long as I can get a source snapshot when I need it, it's not a big deal. -Chris -- Christopher Barker, Ph.D. Oceanographer Emergency Response Division NOAA/NOS/OR&R (206) 526-6959 voice 7600 Sand Point Way NE (206) 526-6329 fax Seattle, WA 98115 (206) 526-6317 main reception [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gispython.org/mailman/listinfo/community
