well, a lot of Windows users (like the ones I work with) would not consider needing Mysys or cygwin "good" Windows support. Hg has TortoiseHg, which I can't say I've used, but appears similar to TortoisSVN which is very nice. There are also a bunch of GUI tools for Hg, though I have no idea if any of them are any good. Anyway, nothing has wide support like SVN, but SVN has all its limitations. As long as source snapshots are regularly available, anything should be OK -- the core developers should choose whatever they like best. -Chris -- Christopher Barker, Ph.D. Oceanographer Emergency Response Division NOAA/NOS/OR&R (206) 526-6959 voice 7600 Sand Point Way NE (206) 526-6329 fax Seattle, WA 98115 (206) 526-6317 main reception [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gispython.org/mailman/listinfo/community
