The totally silent Mac Plus is by far my favourite Mac. Because I own
a iomega floptical external drive I am able to read and write both
Mac and DOS formatted high density disks on my Plus, enabling me to
exchange docs with any other computer.
I doesn't matter that it can't use adb peripherals. The Plus keyboard
is just as good, if not better, than the adb keyboards.
Every once in a while I fool around with some other Mac in my
collection but in the end I always return to my Plus for word
processing, administration with claris works database and spreadsheet
and vintage games, all running from floppys because a noisy hard disk
would spoil the experience.
