I doubt this scenario. From what I could tell, no broadcast was more than about 5 seconds amiss from the actual time of day, some were closer than that. That would be an insufficient delay time to catch and identify some unforseen "wardrobe malfunction." In other words, I seriously doubt that any shift from the "real" time was intended in order to cover their asses.
