A friend & I used to play a little email game. One of us would take a 
well-known quote, use an online tool to translate it into a non-English 
language, and then translate it back to English. The other
one had to come up with the original quote from the result.

Here's how Babelfish translates "Never in the field of human combat has so much 
been owed by so many to so few" into Korean and back:

"Field of battle which is human purely to be like this some in compliance with 
the like this many thing from assuredly was getting into debt."

You get the idea--it's not easy, and it shows just how lacking the online tools 
can be.
