I now am confused - not unusual...
After updating, did you reinstall all contribs?
>From which repos, sme8 I assume?
Before doing anything, please copy and paste as an attachment (saved in text
format) the outputs of:
cat /var/log/yum/yum.log
and
/sbin/e-smith/audittools/repositories
