I think that is self-evident, but not all terminals are handling fonts in a 
nice way. When you increase the size of the font, and the window expands out 
from your screen, then you can not say that this is done wisely.

All here do love the freedom given by Linux, but there might be programs that 
has an old design built in. Emacs is a program that tries to do everything as 
if from one desktop - understand me right, if you have mastered it you fly - 
but a newbie might have a very steep learning curve.
