My husband like peach pie filling in a pan with the pie crust on top.
I add just alittle cinnamon to the peaches before I put them in the pie pan or 8" x 8" pan. I used ready made refrigerated pie crust, just put it on top of the peaches and make the crust fit nice so it looks good. I bake it around 20 minutes at around 350 and this seems to make him happy. Maybe it will work for your fella.
