Peach Cobbler
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups peach slices
2 cups sugar, divided
1 tablespoon baking powder
Melt margarine in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Combine flour, 1 cup sugar,
and baking powder Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are
moistened. Pour batter over melted margarine. DO NOT STIR. Bring remaining 1
cup
sugar, and peach slices to a boil over high heat, stirring
constantly. Pour over batter. DO NOT STIR.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
I put the baking dish on a baking pan to keep it from over flowing in the
oven.
Enjoy,
Anita

Subject: [CnD] peach cobbler
Hello all I am a new member to the list. My husband loves peach cobbler
with lots of crust. I have searched for recipes for this but most of them
are elaborate. If anyone has a simple recipe for this I would appreciate
it.
Thanks
