For some4 of us stickiness on the skin is unpleasant, or even creepy. This prevents me from eating glazed donuts, and when I helped my dad work on his sports car as a kid I couldn't get the grease off my skin fast enough when we finished working. Ribs violate two of my basic food rules -- I don't eat anything that messy and I don't eat food with that much infrastructure in it.
