It's not expensive, at least I don't think so. We use homemade ficacci bread (I mangled that spelling, sorry) for crust and bought sauce. We then make each person an individual pizza, adding whatever we want. We get cheese from Sam's Club, so that's pretty cheap, and even the amount of ground beef used is far less than a single pizza from a restaurant would cost, and this is far less greasy.
