Hi, I had a sub shop back in 1988 and we used to just take crushed tomatoes, hunts traditional tomato sauce, a little garlic powder, pepper, basil a bit of water and mixed all together without cooking. We added a pack of pizza seasoning mix and used that for pizza, and peppers ans sausage and whatever else needed tomato sauce. This was great!! Customers wanted to buy sauce on the side. Hi everyone,
I'm considering making a pizza from scratch. I have a recipe for pizza crust. If anyone makes your own sauce, I'd be interested in your recipe. Do most of you think it's too expensive to buy all the topping ingredients, etc.? I look forward to your replies.
Thanks much,
Nancy in OK
