For a 16 inch pizza shell.
1 can of stewed or whole tomatoes
Drained.
I use a pair of scissors to cuts them up as fine as possible or take your hands and crush them
For the seasoning
dried oregano, basil, crushed hot red pepper, a little salt and pepper to taste. As much garlic as you like. I usually use four clove of fresh garlic minced. Mix well and let sit to blend in the flavors as you prepare the dough. I'm considering making a pizza from scratch. I have a recipe for pizza crust. If anyone makes your own sauce, I'd be interested in your recipe. Do most of you think it's too expensive to buy all the topping ingredients, etc.? I look forward to your replies.
