Macaroni and Cheese
2 cups elbow macaroni or shells
1 stick butter or margarine
1 pound small curd cottage cheese
one fourth pound of American or cheddar cheese, shredded salt pepper
3 cups boiling water

Pour uncooked macaroni or shells into a 9 by 13 inch glass pan sprayed with
nonstick cooking spray.
Slice butter into pieces and top macaroni.
Spread cottage cheese over butter.
Pour the 3 cups boiling water over everything, and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover with shredded American or cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F. 1 hour and no need to cover the pan.

You need too boil the nudles so your are going have too use the stove for
one part of it. I don't think you can do it in a slow cooker at least from
what I heard it doesn't come out that good. I have tried stovers and it is
as good as whole made, infact I think some of the places you eat use it. My
nufe told me that. Lenore
