I am always willing to accept good advice.  Thanks a lot for you input.  I

absolutly have no intentions of scud running or getting in the soup. In my

young 16 yrs of flying I have never got into that situation and hope to
never 
have to, but want to be prepared.  My question to you is that if the turn
and 
bank is so much better the the artificial horizon why don't all IFR planes

have the t.&b. instead of the artificial h? mmmm?
