Randy,I have the type of latch on to that allows you to lock it from the
top inside but I for one do not think it is to safe in case you have to
get out fast,plus the windows might still slide down to one side
carrying both windows in the same direction.What I used to do is put a
glove in between the window and sill at the bottom near my shoulder,now
I am in the new era and I took a piece of rubber hose from an auto place
and split it in two and drilled a hole in one end and just attached it
with a string to the little thumbscrew so I will not loose them.Works
good for me.Jim in Ct.
