Randy, there should be a friction lock on each side just above the window ledge. Turn the thumbscrew clockwise to tighten, counter clockwise to loosen. If your thumbscrews are missing you can get new ones from Univair. It seems I flew in a coupe years back that had something like that. My original one does not hold and the windows "drift" down. I am sure this is not an uncommon problem, I just do not know how to correct it.
