Well any loaded or 5/8 antenna is even narrower than a quarter, the higher
the gain, the narrower the bandwidth in general. Can't imagine any antenna
with gain even coming close to the bandspread needed for avation.

It makes it LOTS easier to change coax, remove/replace antennas and easy
to
clean if corroded (contact cleaner etc etc) Personally for 30 watts and
down
in VHF I prefer the BNC.

I covered mine at the

Sweet match! Nice move on the coax seal... Shame not everyone uses it.
