----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- "Toast" makes the turn thing sound electric, but a lot of the coupes have the venturi driven ones. If it is one of those then you can buy those cheap from numerous places like on Ebay. I have an extra I am keeping for mine since mine sounds like a grinder. Note that some of the electrical guages you can buy these days are cheap junk compared to what came in there originally. I was especially disappointed with the Mitchell oil guage I got from Skyport, not to mention that it went all the way to 100PSI which was silly. Same thing for the CHT's and EGT's from wag aero though they are cheap. I am not so sure that in the panel is the place for the compass, and those vertical ones cost big bucks.
