For those that recall, I had some problems which I thought was due to a bad EACV or a possible blown head gasket.

I want to thank Jason Ustica and George Freeeman for your replies (and George for the really high tech how-to on how to construct a tool for checking to see if coolant has seeped into the cylinders).

Anyway...  I've determined that I've got the beginning of a leak due to a head gasket.  After calling around to friends, peers and other Honda repair shoppes, all highly recommended that I have the head and block resurfaced.  I got quotes ranging from $500 up to $1K.  This put me at a precipice.  Repair, spend some additional money and do a B18 or worse, sell Jiggy "As-Is" (long story...).

After much thought, I decided to go ahead and have my shoppe do the repair (including the machine work needed).  I believe when all is said and done, it will be close to $600 (USD) - Tax and all that stuff...  :^P

Oh, BTW, I also picked up a 2001 Honda Accord LX two nights ago.  :^)  That too is a story in itself and I'm not sure if we're going to keep it (it belongs to my parent's and it has about 8K miles on it - very pristine - just wished they had spent the extra bucks and gotten the EX or V6 EX ;^) ).  Anyone know of any good Accord groups/people?
