Thats an amazingly good price if it includes the resurfacing and the parts/labor for swapping the head gasket. I thought I had a bad headgasket not too long ago, and most shops I contacted were quoting $800 minimum, most were in the area of $1K. Mechanic prices are out of control... thank god I can do about 3/4 of the work I need to do on my CRX.
