.kv file is not necessary for custom maps. We played de_contra_csgo from csbanana yesterday with no problems. sv_downloadurl, bsp.bz2 on fastdl, .bsp on server, de_contra_csgo in mapgroup we are using.
I found a nice tut for .kv - http://forums.csgomaps.net/showthread.php?tid=34 As I said this isn't true "If you don't make a .kv file, the game will only let you play 1v1 on your map!". What are these parameters? "minplayers" "10" "maxplayers" "30" "extraspectators" "2" I don't know what is meant by minplayers. Max players is another parameter which is under the maxplayers in gamemodes_server (X)? So if X set to 32, you can also set this parameter in .kv of course lower than X to max amount of players playing on this map? Extraspectators does what? Thanks. 2012/8/22 haeufi <[email protected]> > No, you don´t need the kv file neither on fastdl nor on client it´s only > for the server.
