This is not what lintian thinks. If I use the section "text", I get: I: hunspell-fr-classical: wrong-section-according-to-package-name hunspell-fr-classical => localization which is the reason why I moved those package from text to localization in release 1:6.2-1. Indeed, the file data/fields/name_section_mappings in lintian source contains this rule: ^(?:aspell|hunspell|myspell|mythes)- => localization So, before making this change, I'd prefer you convince the lintian maintainers first (unless there is some clear authoritative ressource that would give me confidence that this lintian tag is incorrect).
