Are you running the DOS or Windows version of F-Prot? If the 32bit Windows version, how do you have F-Prot setup in your virus.cfg file? It should be setup like:
C:\Progra~1\FSI\F-Prot\fpcmd.exe -TYPE -SILENT -NOMEM -ARCHIVE -NOBOOT -DUMB -REPORT=report.txt using "fpcmd.exe" instead of "f-prot.exe". This will allow you to take advantage of the 32bit version of F-Prot instead of the 16bit version. If you are running the DOS version, I would recommend upgrading to the Windows version. After running for over six hours we're seeing > "NTVDM.EXE - The Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142) > click on OK to terminate the application". Any ideas.
