A multiplatform polytheist
Here in Italy we have also non godless ie. Catho-Communists;
I was myself until recently a heathen follower of the Oracle at Delphi
(trying to get back on topic)
but am beginning to feel like a lost soul.
My next suggestion:
Borland should sell Delphi to Apple (or merge its IDE section);
I suspect that Microsoft might sue if someone tries to sell C#
on a non Windows platform; I presume that it tolerates Mono
because it is non commercial or perhaps because of the Java/Sun situation;
Delphi on the Mac could be developed to include or exclude DotNet
though this would compromise the Web part (no AspNet?) from Delphi 7 up.
I would be right chuffed with something like Delphi7 with full database
functionality
(dbexpress-like). I am not sure what to suggest for the Web part if DotNet
were not to be included;
