Hi Robert, where's this forum you're talking about? I have a 3.2GHz Pentium 4 with 1Gb RAM. I have two 7200rpm disks setup with striping for fast disk access.... It takes 70 seconds to load Delphi 2005 and I have DCM (although I'm really not sure what I can and can't do without). One thing I notice is even tho I thought I'd got rid of .Net stuff in the DCM, it still initialises those services. I now regret adding the .Net stuff during the initial install, but don't want to reinstall. Is there anyway of getting rid of the .Net stuff post-install? Cheers, Chris. _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi
