Hello Linus.
I waited a few that to see if Alan could read this e-mail, but I don't have
any word from him. I saw the permition on the argouml-pt-br and I will start
the work on it. I also don't have any further information about Junior, only
that his e-mail is [EMAIL PROTECTED] and he is doing his msc. in a
university in the shouthern state of Brazil. I'm sending a copy of this
e-mail to Junior, maybe he can read it and get in touch.

Hello Mauro!
If you can't reach Alan then he is not in the loop and therefore we
cannot know or follow his ideas or wishes. This is sad but we cannot do
anything about it. We need to proceed without him.
Project-wise there are only two options.
Either I convince the Tigris staff to give me control over the
argouml-br project to make it part of the argouml projects or we decide
to start working in the argouml-pt-br project and let the argouml-br
project be forgotten about. I have now added you as developers in the
argouml-pt-br project so you can committing your work. If you want
Junior to be added to, let me know (I was not sure exactly who you are
referring to, there are over 50 matches for Junior in the Tigris user
database).

Linus,
I take your advice and try to reach Alan Candido but I could not make
contact. It's been a month now since the last messagem I send to him.
Since I can't get in touch with her what is the next step ? I also
receive an e-mail of Junior, another Brazilian dude that is in this
list, saying to me thar he wants to collaborate.
By the way, I have another paper accepted that relates to ArgoUML (my
prototype is now called CoArgoUML) in a IEEE conference in Atlanta. As
soon as I finish the camera ready version of the paper I will send it to
you.

started (at http://argouml-br.tigris.org <http://argouml-br.tigris.org/>
).
None of these projects seems to contain any work done in the
actual translation.
Please contact Alan (and Sergio Agostinho that is working with
the other Portuguese translation) to coordinate your efforts. You can
get commit rights in the argouml-pt-br project from me if you eventually
decide to use that one.

Subject: [argouml-dev] Brazilian Localization Project
Hi to all.
I just check the localization teams that translate ArgoUML and
couldn't find any team that translate ArgoUML to portuguese of Brazil.
There are a project responsable for translating it to portuguese of
portugal, which is a little different from portuguese of Brazil.
Since I finish my work to make ArgoUML collaborative for my
research I wonder there is an opportunity to give something bacl to the
project by translating it. I read the Cookbook and just want some
guidelines on how to proceed. Should I create a new project in
tigris.org or just start translating the files in the
argouml/src_new/org/argouml/i18n
directory ? Any advice out there ?
