that a ton of people have done in (and outside) this committee already,
and will welcome anyone who wants to stay on the committee.

I do sincerely hope this is not a joke and the date is purely convenient
and pure coincidence :) :) :)

foundation to volunteer for the committee, either by replying on this
list (which is a public mailing list, FYI) or by sending me a private
reply with your ASF username.

I would love to join the committee and pledge to actively participate.

I looked at it, and I have one (important for the jump-start) comment I
think. While I think it's a very good idea to meet in Minneapolis and have
Birds of a feather, the wording in the plan suggests more than that, so
this might require clarification.

whole) rebooted would be to have some brainstorming
sessions at the next Community over Code in Minneapolis.

I think taking into account the current travel/visa/cost limits I think
it's a bit non-inclusive on its own to reboot (i.e. kick-off) such an
initiative in-person in the middle of US, where likely a lot of people who
would like to participate will not be able to travel for multiple reasons.
I think it's fantastic to have an informal gathering of EDI-focused people
who will come there, but mostly to have a chat and beer after and yeah some
brainstorming, but I believe it would be better to have most of the
rebooting, starting and initial discussions done before that - in
offline/remote calls
