Go to Connection > SSH > Auth, add your private key there (in PuTTy's
format), then go to Connection > SSH > Tunnel, add source port 2401, destination
localhost:2401
Don't forget to set your auto-login username to tunnel in the Connection tab
Well, that got me a lot further than before. Thank you!
Unfortunately, I then got an error message in the terminal window:
"Server refused our key" and asked for my password. When I typed it in, I got "Access denied."
Sigh...
