Hi GRS,
The sooner the better. With the number of questions showing up on users,
I am tempted to put what I have on-line with a draft watermark. Safe or
not too safe?
Questions like :
- why is there no system integration for Linux other than Suse or
RedHat ?
- why can't I choose graphically where to install OpenOffice.org like I
used to be able to do ?
- how can I choose which filters to install when I use the RPMs ?
- where's the customized setup installation gone ?
And other disgruntled or surprised user remarks of that ilk ?
Those are some.;-))

But that didn't address my question. Should I put the setup guide on- line in spite of it being incomplete and ...? See issue http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=37513 for v3 in 1.1.x format and 2.0 format.
I think it would be good to put up any guides now, so that those who are using the beta release will have some useful info, but make sure all older material is still available!
To make it easier for the end user, a system of choosing the OS and OOo version to bring up a list of relevant guides would be useful. Of course some guides will be suitable for all OSs, and some older guides would be useful for newer versions of OOo, maybe an update of the screenshots is all that is required. This is particularly true with the application guides (impress, draw, etc.)
One recommendation though would be to have all documentation exported to HTML as well, so that it is faster loading than any other file format. Though this may change of we can come up with a web browser plugin for as many platforms as possible to view OpenOffice and OpenDocument documents.
